Voo Doo Lover
VOO DOO LOVER
The truth of you has settled in for good,
too many times, it took some time to see,
in coming to the facts as understood;
so why is it, I lay the cause on me?
You have no guilt, nor have you any shame,
and so, 'tis pointless pointing out your flaws,
suffice to say, I'll not free you of blame,
but have no reason, other than--because.
And now, my loss of friends, because of you,
is where I need to concentrate my mind,
and yea! my very heart, I throw into
restoring friendships all too hard to find.
You'll not forget; our thick and through our thin;
how much you promised me, your love was true;
I'll keep riminding you, with this, a pin,
pricked in this doll of clay who looks like you.
