No one hears it the voices whispering loudly screaming in my head they won't shut up "Don't dare to try" "You're just a waste of space" "Foolish little girl" "She'll never notice your pain" "She can't really love you" "No one will ever love you enough to stay" Please shut up I can't stand this silent noise Falling apart each day Fighting against my mind I don't work like you My mind a deadly trap They love the silence In it they can truly scream But the music may drown them out Keep them quiet for a time So give me a book An ipod full of songs Let me tune them out Fill my mind with words Keep these voices silent Til only other's words fill my mind Kill the voices quickly Before they can destroy me
