Violence of Silence
Retreat in Silence?
Dare we not speak or take a
Stand in this our beloved land.
Then oppressed, slaves we become
to the forces that be, no longer free.
Awake! Awake we must, for the violence of silence
will ravage and destroy!
This the enemies greatest ploy
Silence the masses there voice no longer heard.
Protesting life’s greatest wrongs and binding
the tyranny of the strong.
Our voices bear the weight of our word,
so never silence your voice let it be heard!
