Verse

Life isn't fair, for how long will I blab? Everyone knows that and sure have their share of crab. Too much of hurts and clinging to the painful past will not do. Telling the tales of yesterday pain is a much ado. Incessant pang of fury is the only thing I will surely gain. No more hold on that past of constant pain. Going forward and putting the past behind, Guaranteed me a blessing of many kind. Offences of the past I shall no more find. 2ND form I have had my own share of untold pain. But I do not want that to put me in a cage. That to me will be of no gain. Now, I have chosen to open a new page. 3RD form lingering sorrow of piercing nagging pain must go with the wind

Nicely done, Modupe. it is so interesting to see the different poems built on this theme and what each person interprets that they are "letting go of"

I find it as a heroic poem of enduring life from the very beginning with life not fair and pain that must go with the wind. Congrat. It is much understanding of life and touching feelings. It is experience and open a new page of hope and serenity and much talent of a chocolate girl teaching and learning how sweet and bitter is the life. Dear chocolate girl, this must be read as a tender calling in the poetical world. Couldn`t be lovely suffering being only poetical / metaphysical
