Verbal Gerbil

A verbal gerbil provoked an irate crowd, Muzzling a large lion lord by roaring loud. A tyrant was toppled, and freedom assured, Until the great gerbil said that was absurd. A rule of History so often spoken, Sadly, "Promises made, promises broken."
