Venus's Phantom

The temple of Venus of Imperial Rome has withstood time, it has also captured many poets making verses of rhyme; the MYSTERIOUS temple was once adorned with thyme, it still stands in a landscape of TRANQUILITY so sublime. Venus was an ANCIENT deity as VENERABLE as springtime, now she's a phantom in a temple that lures clowns that mime... it had that SYLVAN charm without the ugliness of urban grime.
