Vanity

All men are made in vain A paradox that bring me pain and the fact that we can not live forever is a shame So much problems in this life The least is the nagging of a cantankerous wife we fight for survival each day in this world All to achieve vanity What is the fate of humanity when we destroy our souls for insanity Men propose but God disposes We live darkness In a world no one exposes The end is wars and enmity I sought for riches but my conscience imposes Standards which can only be met in a Utopian state Millions live in poverty While one man think his great A wise man in Fooltopia So an irrelevant fool And he will be redundant all his life Like an uninvented tool So search for knowledge and search for wisdom For the world was men in vain The only reward in this world is the salvation that we gain
