Vanessa

Vanessa was a girl that I loved long ago I didn’t even know if she loved me too One day she told me she was moving away Instantly my world fell apart, I cried all day I needed to tell her, to just let her know I had to do something, I couldn’t let her go The day that she moved I went over to her place I knew she could tell how I felt by the look on my face As they loaded the truck, she took me by the hand She put her hand on my cheek and kissed my lips gently and Even though it was over twenty five years ago now and a long way away The impression it made and the feeling it left, I can still feel today
