Valley of Struggle

There is a point in time, Where inspiration and guidance is hard to find. When the words dont seem to make the right rhyme, At this point in the poets work she can choose to define. In hopes that she can point out a certain sign, Searching deep within herself, To grasp,a unfound wealth. Coming forth like flowing waters, Words of new meaning without falter. Out of the valley of struggle, She walks forth, No longer a sluggard.

Been struggling with a bit of writer's block, and this poem nailed that feeling for me. We all want to write something new and to be creative, but its hard to get that ball rolling at times. Excellent write.

A good write... I wrote one somewhat like it called 'Cascading Words'. I have started my first contest called 'Fathers Day'. I'm not about to be a perfectionist... it's for fun... Don't tell everyone... but if I can figure out the judging process... everyone who enters will get a 1st place... If it's possible...

Topics and inspiration can be hard to find... but they're there within us waiting to be triggered and dug out.
