Author's Notes:  This is a "Tanka" or a Japanese verse form write on the subject of "Valentine's Magic."  For this write, I looked at the magic of Valentine's Day from the perspective of that day being a most special day during the calendar year for all couples to celebrate the expression of love which is so pure.  Valentine's Day, in effect, constitutes that most magic moment of love whereby all of us rejoice with the annual renewal of love. The syllable count for this Tanka is:  5-7-5-7-7, for a total of 31 syllables, and the total number of words is 26 for this write.  (Gary Bateman - February 8, 2015) (Tanka)

Categories:  celebration, emotions, feelings, happiness, i love you, love, and together.

("How Many Syllables Counter" was used for syllable confirmation for both automated and manual syllable counts and cross-check.)

Valentine’s Magic Love is eternal— Expression of love so pure! Valentine’s Day is . . . That magic moment of love . . . Renewal of love always! Gary Bateman, Copyright © All Rights Reserved (February 8, 2015) (Tanka)

Such words I'd fused whilst on holiday in February Gary. I pray they prosper and to never fall on stoney grounds. Love this Tanka, it has everything in so few words, James :) :)

Hello Anne-Lise!! I'm very pleased you love this Valentine Tanka. And thanks so much for the 7+ too. I liked how this Tanka turned out after I finished it. BTW, I posted a couplet write this evening called: "Valentine's Unicorn" that you might also want to take a look at. I wrote this for Ingrid on her suggestion of the theme. We are both wishing you and your family as most Happy Valentine's Day!! Best Always, Gary
