Upon These Wings of Freedom

Upon these wings of freedom Pain shall never harm the beauty of such Full of the glowing strength of the mountains And a mothers gentle touch. Upon these wings of freedom I leave behind my darkend past Gliding towards my golden lane Of memories that will forever last. Upon these wings of freedom My laughter and smiles are soul deep Never again to be pretending Never again I will shout or weep. Upon these wings of an angel, Heaven has portrayed, Every bone and every feather, My true self was found and made.

Such revelations and beliefs in ones self and the help of assurances along the paths of lifes ways....a great revelation to hold tight unto dear talented Catherien~the leaving behind of the darkened and sometines hopelessly feeling negatives~and the latching onto the forthcoming promises and dreams! No lomger waisting them chances or moments given within this once to lived life!? Beautiful inspirational write dear lady! And, my love to you and yours always, John!:) Hope You are wonderful, bye!:)

A very thoughtful poem with a nice rhyming flow. I think the poem speaks of soul, gliding towards heaven, leaving behind the dark world of pains. Nice imagination. Thank you for your kind comment on "Drifting Clouds." With best wishes-Suresh.

Beautiful uplifting spiritual write...I found it so gentle and calming with great rhyme and tone..It just flowed beautifully. I simply love the title, it's what first drew me in but after reading, it gave me such a sense of peace...that one could find such contentment...I long for that day - I like this so much, it's going into my favorites..Great Job, GB~ Tyesha
