Up and Above

Oh I sit on my moonlit terrace As the wind whisks with a tender graze, As the stars burn, oh light-years away To their silent harmony, I sway. In the coolness of the night, In the alluring raven sight, In my balmy blushing cheek, I find the peace, I oh so dearly seek! My soul stretches near and afar; Thoughts spilling forth from the jar, Trailing filaments of long entwined Philosophy of a probing mind.
