Ever thought about, the little things we do and say, How the simplistic things affects us all, in every single way, With only twenty-six letters, we’ve achieved communication, Yet the words we say, could give the will, to make or break a nation. We dwell, in our current state, Victim to, our every fate, Miracles occur, before our eyes, But seeing them, betrays our lies. How can this world rotate, When its’ awareness comes so late. We talk about enlightenment, and reaching higher visions, Yet our circumstances collectively, collapse due to collisions. We’re charmed by our dreams, because they help us make it through, Until life disarms our dreams, and brings us back to a narrow view. Instinctively we love and care, and walk towards a smile, And reluctantly we hope, that life, evades the common isle. I close my eyes and whisper all my thoughts inside my head, To speak them loud, I might regret, and wish they were not said. Somehow I manage to dissolve, into my most distant being, Only when I’m there, can I relate to all that I’m seeing. Our universe is incomplete, therefore smaller than we think, Flowers grow in battlefields, where drops of sunshine shrink. I plea to the world, don’t envelope my free soul, Let me browse on paths untouched, unlike the others, time just stole.
