Unshown

It is not the words you say. I know it is just your way. It’s the ones that you don’t. Or perhaps maybe you won’t. It’s the things you haven’t done. Because when I need tenderness, there is none. It’s the words that never come out, That leave me here in this doubt. I’m standing right here waiting for you to love me without fear. I need to feel you. I need to know you still do. It is not enough simply to know. I need to hear you say it’s so. Because you will never know, How much I need the love you don’t show. Sarah Comstock 8/29/2009
