Unsettled
There is unrest in my heart
they say things depend on
the sight of the beholder
each seeing from a different view.
They say men are men
and women are alien
perhaps it is men who
are actually the outsiders?
They talk at us and down to us
rarely seeing another's view.
Is it any wonder we tear our hair out
trying to understand their whims.
Obsessive about what they feel important
uncaring about all else.
Why should it matter?
After all they are all important.
It is their wishes and desires
that come always first.
What does it matter about others?
I AM ALRIGHT JACK.
That seems to be their chant
oh my dear, why are you upset?
Surely it is enough to take care
of all my important needs?
I am too busy to talk right now
you can have one hour in twenty four.
As you well know in between playing
sixteen plus hours on my game.
I must then spend a couple of hours
pampering both the cat and plant.
Then I must check the garden too
See I really have no more time to spare.
Run me here and there
and sit up to an hour
waiting for me in your car
oh wow, this time I can also go in.
More sitting around then home
to be faced with more of the same.
I ask you is this living?
the sole purpose of my life?
Oh no I am worth far more
it is time for things to change.
No slave or skivey am I, but
a free spirit that needs to fly.
So wise up darling or ship out
cause else it will not work.
Equality in all is my motto
not just the left over scraps!!!
