Unrequited Love

Sightless you gaze past the love in my eyes, I am sending your way in friendship’s disguise. Unheeding you neglect the words I treasure, That reveal the feelings I've yet to measure. Detach from my dreams, migrate from my mind, And save me from the pain of going in blind. Restless I ache from this love unrequited. Dealing with desires which show up uninvited.
