Hello Ralph!! Dropping by here for my first time. You have some great poetry that I shall try to get back to from time to time! I written a few sonnets and heroic couplets and lyrics so I always get a good feel for the syncopation of the verses and a number of other characteristics of great writes. The imagery, passion, and emotion you've displayed in this write are all excellent!! The last four verses intertwine powerfully to remind the reader of the essence of "Unrequited!" A "7"! Cheers, Gary

I like this piece - it portrays lost love well. In the last line you should have left out the "as". Peace & Blessings Matthew Anish
