Unlucky
Unlucky the tears I shed
Are not for love and joy
Unlucky I was born premature
And delivered as a baby boy
Unlucky I didn’t know better
Until you were two feet out the door
Unlucky I won’t be the man
To vow “till death do us part”
Unlucky I’m not Usain Bolt
And lost the race to win your heart
Unlucky I’m not Mohammed Ali
Cause I lost the fight before the start
Unlucky I’m not Romeo
And I lost the role to play the part
Unlucky there’s no remote control
To rewind to the time it was better
Unlucky there are no time machines
To travel back to the day I met her
Unlucky I can’t fool reality
And restart to the way we used to be
Unlucky I can’t rewrite history
Unlucky me
