How true--A poetic way of stating that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I always like it when a proverb is restated poetically. It takes a certain gift. Thanks

Thank you so much for your comment. I appreciate it. Probably I was not clear enough.” You” refers to the woman I offer the flower whose beauty is superior than that of the flower which has less beauty or no beauty at all. It becomes beautiful only when She, the one I love, touches it! So it is not a proverb stated differentlybut an original thought. Probably I should make it clearer to avoid misinterpretations.
