I wonder what its like
To be a woman who conceives
A life grows inside her
That started from a seed.
I wonder what its like
To feel this wonder move inside
Kicking, jabbing, turning
Of this I am mystified.
I wonder what its like
This pain of giving birth
Something women endure
The suffering is well worth.
I wonder what its like
Holding a baby of your own
But for women like myself
This will forever be unknown.
