Unheard Of
i thought a thought from thoughtless see
quite like the naught from naughtless me
thinking that the thin king's way
begins the year the fifth of may
the better thus to better be
one and all and ever we
and then i thought a thought another
what day 'twould be did dare i druther
thirteen months instead of twelve
as once it was when we were selve
four weeks of seven, eight and twenty
days a month, the perfect plenty
leaving one, the nothing day
the day that some call christmas, pray
to bind the year ring of the sun
the diamond way, the twinkle one
the tides of women and the sea
the goddess moon, the mystery
the lightning lit, the storied sky
'twas how i thoughtless thought to pry
the right to wright the written word of
light and life and love unheard of
