Unfound
Thundering, down falls lightening
Skyward rises clouds of amber
The thick mist clings to my tears
Ever present trickling down
To sorrowful earth below.
Saltine linear tracks
Climbing so low beyond
All my confusions
Open doors now locked tightly
With the sighs of my despair.
Daybreak fails my eyes
Left to a quest alone
Shuddering in cold gardens
Poppy and belladonna
Best friends we are three.
Faint and distant whispers
Of cries to never be uttered
Only laughter doth penetrate
Resting upon deaf ears
Mine heart to be left, unfound.
