Unforgiveable

I say, let me forgive you Unlock me, unchain me Set me free at last, from you, from this prison of resentment Set me free I want to forgive you, I need to forgive you I must forgive you, so that I can move on, be free, be alive But, you won't let me forgive you for if I do, I might forget you You say, that would be unforgiveable

This is so deep, Dave. Yes...to be forgiven means to be forgotten. Reminds me of a poem I've written entitled, Hate Me. Wow. Loved this piece. Very well worded.

I see what you mean...your's is almost the opposite side of the 'conversation'. Beautiful work as always, Eileen.
