Unfaithful

Eyes that hide the truth, a soul that screams. Selfish actions from you that tear us apart at the seams. A tongue, silver but forked, your heart was never true. With your poems and words, all your promises belied the real you. Gorgeous though you appear, your looks will only go so far. All your manipulations will eventually show what you really are. I'm not sure how you managed to get over on me, and every time things get hectic you turn and flee. I thought we were forever but you tore us apart with your lies, controlling ways but most all, an unfaithful heart.

Loved this, found it raw and honest, really touched my heart. I love the phrase "A tongue, silver but forked," I have known this type myself. You captured the feeling perfectly! God bless, Amy

Aleera, I admire your natural ability of reaching out and pulling your readers in to feel your strong emotions as you present us with your amazing gift of writing. Its sad that so many still think the grass is greener on the other side but only find disappointment. One must cherish what they have today as tomorrow it may be gone forever. Love your writing my dear... MPK
