dragging feeble feet a silent walk to death's grasp beaten under house the last sigh escapes her lungs whiskers shrivel as years pass

* AFTER VIEWING THIS SHORT VERSE TWICE, SWEET BEAUTIFUL LAURA, I FIND IT QUITE GRIPPING. STIRRING MY HEART DEEPLY AMID REFLECTIONS OF THE SORROWS WHICH PERMEATE THIS PLACE AND AGE. WE SMILE WE GRIMACE WE PERSEVERE WE HOLD OUR BREATH WE WAIT. PROFOUND, AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR BEAUTY'S LOVELY VISIT; WONDERFUL. MY LOVE, RACHEL *

Sorry for being late reading your amazing poetry Laura. I enjoyed reading it today as always. I wish I could keep up with all the poets here but I can't. Thank you for sharing your writing with us. Love, Carol

does the world end with a bang or a whimper? Really like your vocabularly and imagery to set up final exasperated line
