Underdog
You think about giving up
But then what will you do
No matter where you go
Life is going to follow you
You think it’s hard to get up
So accustom to falling down
And you get use to the world
Seeing it from the ground
You were not born fortunate
But still never lost your way
Because every under dog
Must have his day
Some times the rain
Seems to fall with out end
And you get to thinking
You will never see the sun again
You been struggling so long
And all you can do is pray
Because every under dog
Must have his day?
Some have fancy sports cars
With girls in the front seat
While your Chevy broke down
In the middle of the street
The engine over heating
Your radiator has a leak
Got to wait for your paycheck
At the end of next week
Yeah sometimes it seems
All the bad luck comes your way
But you know every underdog
Must have his day
There are people like this
All around the world
If you put on the TV
Will see a sad boy or girl
Compare to some
We are like a millionaire
Some don’t have food to eat
Or clothes to wear
If you know some one
Who is unfortunate today?
Do your best to help them
A little kindness can go along way
There are some worst than you
No matter what you face today
And every under dog
Must have his day
