Unconditional Love

Here I sit, My faithful dog and I in a tight little knit We watch the rain fall, The wind howling it's call, With each crack of thunder my dog quivers with fear I hold her close and wait for the sky to clear. Then I lay back on my bed, Thinking of the raining drops of blood that Christ Shed. No one could understand his pain That day that he was slain He gave up all so that man would not fall We owe him a thanks for what He's done, He sent his only begotten son. The glorious Angels will sing their tune, The shining gold trumpets will sound And we will know the saints are found. Through the dead and living Christ will comb To find those He will take home.
