Uber Posters

Uber Poster I was searching for a poet that I know posted today I searched on down the list I searched nearly all the way I could not find the poet as I searched through the pile I just get coming across the postings of a poet rhymed with piles I was wondering whether to look but then I saw another I counted twenty of them so far, so not one did I bother I think she is in a competition to beat the Uber poster we all know Between them both they really are just trying to steal the show My poet I did find just before she slipped right off the list You know one could get annoyed but I really might get p****** © ~GG~ 13/09/2102 I may get shot down in flames but there you go. I was searching for this one poet and I would have missed it if I didn't know she was posting. Between the two Ubers there are over 30 postings again just today. 4:45 am in my sleepless land so searching the list to read some good poetry I find another poet who has posted 27 poems just tonight, or today in their land.

Nice commentary, enjopyed the rhymes. When I spot that going on I choose one poem, and only one. I like the all list, that's where I find random new poets, but I suspect I don't have nearly as much time to spend here as a lot of people.

mandy, DO NOT read the list called New Poem- ALL. ONLY read NEW POEMS- BY POET. That way you can see all the poets who have posted during the day. It takes nearly a day for a name to scroll off that list, mandy. The other list is ridiculous and I think it should be eliminated from Soup altogether!!! I took my mentor's advice when I first came here and began totally ignoring the list called new poems - all, and I have never regretted it!

mandy - i so agree with you! i wonder why the powers-that-be of poetrysoup don't do something to remedy the situation. it seems that whenever someone posts something about this, it only gets worse. is there anything we can do about it???

you tell 'em girl, i'm right with you here. although it was my blogg, i really did not realize just how bad this posting situation is becoming, i think the site is becoming overloaded.. i seen poets poems that use to recieve 100's of comments a poem, now lucky to get a dozen, yet i saw one unknown, with 5 hits within 10 minutes of being posted, i'm at a lost to explain what is going on...............

the problem is now, one could easily be accused of sourgrapes, but i wonder if this is one of the reasons we have lost so many poets in the last two years....
