U and I: the Roses of Poses

{verse 1} I can blow your mind if you don't mind Like bombs in no man's land Wait a minute or two...let time unwind On flames the moment you called me names and threw the blames On me...on you...on everyone else, but Him from on high...no shames, no shames... {pre-chorus} "Draw away the pain even if you have little flaw that drives you insane... practice makes perfect out of us all, so our emotions need training to help us stand tall like the China Wall" {chorus} The land of roses of poses I roam at home, all alone Then, I find that you're on your own...I place rainbow roses On the ground above your deathbed, your Crimson-tainted tombstone My soul-bound spirit left untamed, I'm oh so ashamed...it's getting a little lame, You're treading the lane of bottling shame You're submitting to your old ways, driving down the same old road Of your shattered abode And let me carry your emotional and mental load... I know I was as ignorant and ugly like a toad Watching the ticking bombs of ancient times...explode...implode... {verse 2} In my mind's eye, I can't deny or even lie, even if I'm temporarily on my bipolar high, I see your auras of truth, No lie...it's not a fake photo in a mall photo booth I would never doubt in my mind That you'd be gone, for you were a great find I overflow the bathtub with rubbles of bubbles and waters of woe I'm riding on the waves of bravery and tracing the foam on my fingertips, you know... {hook} On flames the moment you called me names and threw the blames On me...on you...on everyone else, but Him from on high...no shames, no shames... {pre-chorus} "Draw away the pain even if you have little flaw that drives you insane... practice makes perfect out of us all, so our emotions need training to help us stand tall like the China Wall" {chorus} The land of roses of poses I roam at home, all alone Then, I find that you're on your own...I place rainbow roses On the ground above your deathbed, your turquoise-tainted tombstone My soul-bound spirit left untamed, I'm oh so ashamed...it's getting a little lame, You're treading the lane of bottling shame You're submitting to your old ways, driving down the same old road Of your shattered abode And let me carry your emotional and mental load... I know I was as ignorant and ugly like a toad Watching the ticking bombs of ancient times...explode...implode... {verse 3} I called your name Echoing the same shame All over again... Where have you been? All my life, I dealt with strife And I think it cuts me like a sharp knife {hook} On flames the moment you called me names and threw the blames On me...on you...on everyone else, but Him from on high...no shames, no shames... {free style} The land of roses of poses I roam at home, all alone Then, I find that you're on your own...I place rainbow roses On the ground above your deathbed, your torture-tainted tombstone You're submitting to your old ways, driving down the same old road Of your shattered abode And let me carry your emotional and mental load...
