I lost a friend in an airplane crash, he had just got his pilot's license and was so proud. I can remember the day, I stood crying and crying for what seemed hours, for the loss of my friend but also for the loss of his dreams.. death is not polite, it does not ask permission... your poem brought that memory back... a great write... full of emotion... and thanks for your comment on my poetry

Can feel with you, Tim! I lost one of my friens when he was out for his first job in Agentina. I did not know as he wanted to see me on Easter as well, then I received a letter from his Argentina land lady that he had died in a car accident. So this Couplet means more to me.
