Two Long Years
(never ending love)

Has been two long years without you
Since our God took you away
Could no longer watch you suffer
Now in heaven's where you stay
You are looking down upon me
He and you help me along
You and Christ are still within me
I still rejoice in him with song
Your memory brings peace to me
You are still here in my life
I knew that there were miracles
When the Lord made you my wife
I've tried to listen to His voice
Every day since you have passed
To honor and to love you both
Until I've spent my very last
Then I'll be with you in glory
For forever and a day
It will only seem a moment
Since our God took you away
