Two Large Doors
Two large doors towered
in a world of no ecape.
on one door vines were flowered
on the other roses drape.
Carved deep in the door of vines
a message had been read,
"think of all the better times,
or choose redwood instead."
On the door of bloodred rose
in black ink dark and dead,
"Think of those that you apose,
or choose the vine instead."
As I watched the people's choice
redwood took them back
to this place of no rejoice
but vine was still intact.
As they tried a second time
to choose the other door,
they found the knob of stringy vine
lay on the cold hard floor.
Now they saw their flaw's reaction
they're stuck here in this time.
It's time to put my words in action,
and choose the door of vine.
