Two Hearts

In the darkness two hearts did find one another. Intertwined with passion and desire. They wished the dawn would never break and end this lustful affair. For at night they danced their own design. Can two hearts beat as one? Can souls not see each other beyond these fleshy prisons, Or these walls we build to keep evil from our doors? Truly brave are those who love without fear or bounds. Only the jealous few would stand between the soul's desire. Our own wants and needs are dashed by another's cowardice. So the lovers in the night can only be together when the sun goes to sleep. Can we not shape and mold our own future? For if left to fate alone, I truly dread what lay in store. There is left but one small spark of hope, It is found with two hearts, dancing in the dark.
