I seem to be liking mostly the second haiku in the ones that are pairs. Yours too. It's very deep with meaning. Congrats for win.

Interesting pair of haikus as the second one appears to serve as the juxtaposition to the first and the space between them serves as the kireji, hence rather than two haikus, it is one 6 line haiku. Cheers, Roy
