Twin Flames Burning
Twin flames burning ever so bright
Burning for eternity every day and night
A memorial to those that passed away
A reminder it can happen on any given day
So unexpected no warning at all
A rumbling followed by a shaking wall
Lights swaying and windows breaking
People screaming and the sleeping waking
This time it's bigger than the last
One this big was long ago in the past
The terror and fear some people go through
So unexpected can't predict when they're due
Never knowing if today there'll be one
Then sometimes weeks pass by with none
No matter how many one does endure
Every time is uncertain never secure
Will the house still be standing
Or will it before me be collapsing
Have loved ones sheltered safe
Awaiting reunion to a warm embrace
Sadly there are those these tremors take away
Earthquakes can happen on any given day
In honor of those that have passed away
Twin flames they'll be burning night and day.
