Twilight Zone Moments
I guess most of us have had them,
I sure as hell did see a few
Moments to make you wonder,
How much of the strange is true
A few times I'd tell someone
to answer the phone,
A few seconds before it rang
And once we visited a psychic
Who described the story which,
Like a startling bang,
Was behind a picture
In a sealed envelope she held
And my jaw dropped in wonder
Just like a tree was felled
But to me the most startling
Was a day in my car,
Rosie and I were on our way
To visit one of our stores away far
For a company inspection
The radio was on
When suddenly I said,
Let's hear "I Don't Care Anymore"
What happened then
Near made me drop dead
For I pressed another channel button,
And indeed there it was,
A song not often played
My head was now abuzz...
A Phil Collins song,
Several years old,
There it played before us,
As I had foretold....
