Twilight In Sonnet
Moments of melting orange in the west
You are a softened shadow of morning
Splashing and sprinkling colors in sunset
What a mesmerizing goodbye saying
The wind is soft, clouds aloft and shiny
Your face blushing in the departing light
Tiny sands in your perfume behind me
Hundreds of hues in a beautiful flight
Look at the lovely portal of the night
Listen to the wind blowing dark and wild
Breathe in ashen golden briny twilight
Supple sun holds the hands of mild moonlight
Getting close with the blue and orange sky
Let’s walk on the sands of time, you and I
