Twilight Constanza
Twilight comes with the crescent moon
As street lights flicker in the dusk
The night's approach is rather brusk
Stars will begin to twinkle soon
And the sound of a distant train
Makes a noisy yet sad refrain
A roll of thunder rattles spoons
Lightening rips across the sky
The sound of rain is heard nearby
As barn owls hoot and crickets croon
Bedtime stories are being told
As children listen brave and bold
The night lights up as fireflies swoon
While nature sings her lullaby
Sweet slumber calls and dreams reply
~
Twilight comes with the crescent moon
Stars will begin to twinkle soon
A roll of thunder rattles spoons
As barn owls hoot and crickets croon
The night lights up as fireflies swoon
