Twilight

Ever so often when I can't sleep I write so I don't start to weep My husband snores a symphony he falls asleep almost instantly I wonder why I feel no glee his arm is securely around me I need to join him in his singing if not my ears will start ringing I will pray for safety through the night it will soon become morning light For then I can look into his eyes once again it will be a bright sunrise

I know the feeling of not being able to sleep at night, for one reason or another, Angela! But eventually sleep sets in, and soon it will be time to "rise and shine"...reminds me of the Flintstones :) Regards // paul

Thank you, Paul. I sometimes watch the Flintstones on MeTV :)

I have a feeling it is his notorious snoring that is keeping you awake! Can you not muzzle the man? I have found my own room now, but alas, the dog sleeps with me and not only snores loudly but farts loudly too. This sounds like a loving relationship; you may need your own room.

I exaggerated a little about his snoring :)

Poor Angela. It is no fun hearing a person snoring. But dawn brings happiness. Lovely poem ~~
