Twilight

And the time stood still, As I wore a crown of Daffodil Laying beside you, Among the grass covered with dew. Listening to your heartbeat, Remembering the day we met. Watching the sky change color, And becoming it duller. Enjoying the beauty of nature, And wondering if you were a stranger. Even though you are not really present, I am enjoying the very moment. In the world of my imagination, But not under the effect of hallucination.

Oh a really beautiful poem full of imagination, our brain is a amazing things, make thousands of imaginations, show us things, beautiful things that will never happen in real life, and the realization always hurts, so it s better to imagine but don t imagine things you know that will never happen, coz that s when you ll start to hate life and prefer dreams, perhaps a way forward to depression, so always be happy with what you have, the things you don t have, were never yours, good luck

Our imagination is a wonderful gift for we can take ourselves to where we wish/desire to be. I like how you made it seem so real right down to the last two lines, Ritika. Congrats and all the best to you. :) ~ Artsie
