Twas a Week Before Christmas
Twas a week before Christmas
I was driving through town
Not a caroler was singing
Nor could one be found
I drove to the mall
To check out the scene
But people were rude
Obnoxious and mean
They were pushing and shoving
To get that great deal
This was not Christmas
How can this be real
Have we forgotten
What Christmas is for
Is there no cheer
Or joy anymore
I dropped to my knees
And I screamed really loud
Please Christmas spirit
Take over this crowd
Open their eyes
And help them to see
We're killing our Christmas
How can this be
It got really quiet
Then I said without fear
"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE YEAR"
