Turn To Stone
Saw my woman by the water's edge
While I was standing by the hedge
She ran away when I looked away
I wish she would've just stayed
Thinkin' to myself, "What went bad?"
I cherrished everything we ever had
Why'd she leave me here all alone?
My heart has sunk like a stone
She walked out on me because of the way
The way it went, why didn't it stay
Now shes gone and I'm all alone
I wanna stand here and turn to stone
