Tsunami
Poem written: 13th of July 2013
Tsunami
Wall of water,
As high as the clouds,
An uncontrollable force,
Destroying crops and buildings.
Poseidon’s fist,
Neptune’s rage,
Hades’ dream,
Demeter’s nightmare.
Sweeping through cities,
Leaving a path of destruction,
Howling and smashing,
Burying with rubble.
This is powerful,
This is violent,
This is life shattering......
This is a Tsunami.
