Truth Is Quiet
I'll gather reasons for my perception,
And seek understanding from lessons learned.
The mind can catalog all deception,
As I have paid for this with failures earned.
The deepest dreams can forever run free
Crossing the emptiness of the world's space.
They bend with the universe I see,
And travel its distance leaving no trace.
I'll hear the world call when time is silent,
And hold its faint echos where my soul lives.
Peace comes when my heart is compliant.
It's the truest fountain that always gives.
Truth is quiet, when searching its essence
Still is the soul, when finding its presence
