tell me, tell me I implore
tell me, though the rains fail
and hoar frost lies forever more

tell me, yet, the truth is clear
just as the comet leaves a trail
we have faith in the words we hear

tell me!! just to reassure
beside truth all things are pale
even that which we must endure

Charles, wow; it is beautiful. I wish I had a way to catch more poems; currently I just go through new poems and select titles that catch my eye. There are just so many; and if you're not copying and pasting comments it can take a while to read even just a dozen or so....I do not do copy and paste. Lovely Charles

Much truth within the frame work of your triolet Charles. Truth is a lost art these days I am beginning to see. Enjoyed this tremendously.
