Truth
The truth dances at the edge of my vision
Unsure who's truth I should follow
Each held with such strong conviction
Still their truths shimmer like a mirage
The closer I get
The further it travels
Out of my reach
My tongue is swollen
I continue to drink sand
Will my thirst ever be quenched
Is there even a single drop to swallow
They promised fountains
