Truth

Do you really know me? I don't think you do, not really Because if you ever did You will not disrespect my name in vain Every time I speak, can you hear my voice? Somehow, I don't think you have, not really Because if you ever had You would have loved to call me your friend And not treat me like how you treat your enemy All I ever wanted was to share with you my light But somehow you would rather listen to the shadows of your thoughts I wanted to show you how much I love you But all you cared about was how to measure it with your understanding Now let me tell you my truth! I did not caused you, your pain but I took every bit of it, as mine I did not caused you, your sickness but I would gladly bare it all to myself Death was never part of the plan and it is why I had to die for you I love you as a Father would I love you as a Son will always aspire to be And I will forever be with you and in you... In Spirit Through Grace for Grace is truth and your faith in this; shall set you free By:Wilbert Evangelista Dela Cruz
