Trust Not the Night
The night has many faces,
Some are bright, others dark.
It's eyes stare deep into your soul.
They twinkle with deceiving beauty,
but let them not fool you. They are
the eyes of the many the night has
claimed. Look closely and you will
see that revenge is there only goal.
Like a beautiful flower enticing a
bee, they hope to do the same. But
not all is lost. Just as the night
entangles you in it's darkness it
is fought off by the luminous moon.
Let it be your guide in the obscure
night. It's light radiates throghout
providing light for the blind. But
even the radiant moon must rest at
times. In those times of darkeness
trust not the night and it's beautiful
eyes.
