Trump's 'Win' 'Hey, Fore' - Now, Five More

Trump’s ‘Win’ “Hey, Fore!” (Now Five More)
Trump’s ‘Win’ Trump’s ‘Win’ fades (but for lives that it cost)! Think he cops to the fact that he’s lost? Fake News’ swill! Be prepared for a varmint (once snared), can be vicious as hell, hates glasnost! Trump’s ‘Past’ Lord, I trust that your heart is divine, but four years now, Truth’s died on the vine! Grant Republic a break, States so raped by a snake who spits poison, “More death is just fine!” Trump’s ‘Need’ Claps himself (not you fool! your butt’s tool!) He fears ‘failures’ in life, ‘facts’ aren’t cool! With Dad’s money, life’s tough. for a woman’s just m*ff, ‘prize’ like crap to a fly! Fame’s drugged rule! Trump’s ‘Greed’ Trump trusts personal gain; that’s his sin! He serves Mammon; foe’s death is his win! Pond’s reflection is all he admires; his ‘fastball?’ a strong dictator’s come on his chin! Trump’s ‘Pain’ ‘Seig Heil’ stumbles on love, surfs on pain, seems Trump’s father’s rejection won’t wane. It’s life’s failures that last, no grokked love to contrast, like ‘plain dream of rain falling in Spain!’ (1) Trump's Sedition (What His Minions Heard!) (2) "SAINTS must pledge lives anew to this fight! END 'fake' COVID! STOP Soul-Sucker's blight! JOIN OUR march, don't retreat! Thieve's DEN's just up the street! QU**R their STEAL! GOD's defeat CAN'T be right! November 24th in 2020 Poet’s Note: (1) My apologies to Professor Henry Higgins for linking his poetic mnemonic with a catastrophic failure like Donald Trump. May America rise like Eliza Doolittle from the ashes of ‘lessons’ Trump has taught us! And faith survive! (2) This limerick was written on February 7, 2021. Unfortunately, Republican’ theology’ today seems to be “If you disagree with our religious views, you are Satanic.” They see a compromise that works toward a “political settlement” that honors all Americans as an “EVIL.” However, all political differences are not inherently evil but a part of the essence of “freedom of (and from) religion,” enshrined in our Constitution. It seems entirely plausible that those who proclaim political compromise ‘evil’ are, in fact, demagogic, actual traitors to our Nation, to our Constitution, to the altogether reasonable (not religious) ideal of “one person, one vote!” I pray that God will open our Republican friend’s hearts and minds to what ‘Grace’ means. To call a rigid stand against abortion ‘pro-life’ seems obscene! No one likes abortion, but such a mindset is heretical to the teachings of Jesus, in my opinion. No one knows when (or even if) a fetus is given a soul before its birth. The Bible is silent on this subject and, one must consider that God allows hundreds (if not thousands) of “natural” abortions to occur in the world every day. Does this make our God “EVIL?” If you are incapable of giving Grace to others, is it a reasonable expectation that God will give it to you? Just asking.

Thanks Anne-Lise! This poem is my entry into Joseph May's Limerick Contest here on PoetrySoup! Watch for even more new stanzas! What fun! Trump is such a bellwether to the soul of our nation, to who is a Christian and who is not (at least in my opinion)!
