A landslide from inside
Expelled
Deep resentments built for years
Tapping into fears
The day reason died
Dystopian awakening that day
Tyranny unleashed by choice
Willing
Votes for disruption
Volcanic irruption
Anguish given a voice
Rude awakening that day
The suddenness of realisation
Transformed
Promises on the hoof
With no basis in truth
A political improvisation
Crazy awakening that day
Diagnosed as insane
Overcoming
A rancorous election
Regrets in reflection
Trumped by bewildering pain
